This microzine is designed to showcase a short story from Einstein’s Dreams. The purpose was to emulate the mood of the story using only abstract shapes and forms. This piece focuses on creating a tone with visuals and typographic placement. This is a study of how type can be manipulated to relate to the tone and mood of a story.
This short story has melodic themes so I chose to use wavy elements in the design that flow through each spread. The story also has a sort of multiverse theme to it, so as the story progresses, each spread branches and becomes more chaotic until the final spread returns to calm. The colors are warm to accompany melodic theme of the story
